About this Form

You can claim 33.33 cents for every dollar you donated to approved charities and organisations.

You can only claim on donations that added up to the same amount or less than your taxable income during the tax year.

When to use this form

If you do not use myIR you have to submit all your receipts after the tax year ends on 31 March.

You need to complete a ‘Tax credit claim form – IR526’.

What you will need

• receipts for your donations
• your bank account number
• to be registered to a donation tax credit account
