About this Guide

Inland revenue is becoming increasingly digital in the way we work – so are most of our customers. Cheque use continues to decline every year, with most customers already choosing to pay their taxes electronically.

Since 1 March 2020, we have stopped accepting payment by cheque.

when to use this guide

This is a significant change for some, and one that might take some adjustment. The good news is that there are plenty of other payment options that are faster, cheaper, and more secure.
